I am getting really tired of the people who come on here,which is not hard to find, as if they are incapable of usding the phone ect. In the age of information overload how hard is it for these people to look for what they want.Man I have booked flights, bought climbing gear and crimbo gifts ect, over the net or the phone. If you can't manage this I dread to think of how you will survive in the outside world.
I mainly agree.
If someones on here and they ask something via qn then granted it might be quicker to do it that way than googleing it.
What i don't like is when there are lodes of topics asking questions that when i go to google i find the answer for on the first or second result.
Another thing that annoys me is peoples lazyness on here.
Lets take for example the acsessable electronics board.
Ok, you do get the odd post on there about talking phones, but most of it is just asking about ipods!
How much longer would it take a user to just go down a few topics and find that there question has most lightly been answered already?
I guess it ups the forum posts for the admins though.
Absolutely. It seems to be a complete absence of independent thought, and these people are lending credence to the enduring myth,that we are helpless.
Er...What? So if somebody finds searching the net for info, they've got no chance of searching the "outside world"? By outside world you mean in the case of flights, ringing tome flights company and booking a flight? or in the case of shopping, they wouldn't be able to go to a shop assistant tell them what they want and get it that way? Where's the logic in that point? Some people find things easier to do online, and other people find doing things offline easier. That's just the way it is, and the personal preference of each individual with regards this matter says absolutely nothing about them, outside the context of their personal preference.
